Pros: Bright screen, fast processor, great Wi-Fi and Bluetooth range. User replaceable battery.
Cons: Battery life. Headphone jack in poor place with large CF Cards.
The Bottom Line: Multimedia powerhouse with built-in wireless networking capabilities.
Review: Over the years I've owned several PDAs, both of the Windows mobile and Palm persuasion, as well as a few that are proprietary. My Palm Tungsten T had seen better days, and I was growing frustrated with newer tools for it (like the Wi-Fi SD Card) not ...

Review: This review is for the layperson, who considers a purchase like this to be a pretty big one, as it was for me ( I bought this to replace a Palmone Zire 31). I work out of the house, and have a ten year old son, so I need to leave periodically. I needed ...

Pros: Clear screen, WIFI, Bluetooth, CF and SD slots
Cons: No protective cover
Review: Have had the 520 MHz Axim for 2 months and have not regretted it. Main uses are for agenda and using Uptodate (1GB medical encyclopedia). The Axim copes with these admirably and the search on the Uptodate is sufficiently responsive (2-5 seconds). Wifi ...

Pros: Small, fairly rugged, and versatile.
Cons: Reprogram the outside buttons or you'll have to charge frequently.
Review: I got my Axim to help me get organized. It also helps me have fun! I run all my appointments through the calendar. I keep all my contact information with me. And I can synch everything with my PC. When I have a little downtime, like waiting in ...

Pros: WMP Mobile 10; WiFi connectivity; Pocket IE works great
Cons: Like Docs-To-Go better than Pocket versions of Excel, Word; Microsoft OS
The Bottom Line: This meets all of my needs, although I would prefer the Palm OS; Wireless setup is not simplified; may want to wait for the X50v to drop
Review: My employer's computer I/T department exhibits great follow-through. After over a year of waiting for them to support my Palm Tungsten C that I brought over from another employer, they finally decided to let me in on a secret; Ain't gonna happen! After ...

Cons: Numerous resets, software bundle, no camera, side buttons are too easy to activate.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a Pocket PC with numerous abilities for a reasonable price, consider the Dell Axim x50. It's an excellent PDA to switch to after using Palm.

The Bottom Line: the freedom of being able to do research or writing - on a PDA, is ACE - believe me!
Review: So what does the much talked about x50 give? The answer to that question depends on what you want it to give. The x50 has an ample processor, running at 500Mhz - to handle all the nice and neat features - like pocket word, and even the more ...

Review: I really like my Dell Axim X50...after looking at the Benchmark test I thought it was as good as any HP I'd looked at...I also felt the X50 wasn't that much slower than the X50v to warrant the extra money...the screen is crisp with nice color...was easy ...
